Our Mission
As an international organization, the missions of IFWS include but not limited to the followings:
- A Platform for International Exchange of information on science and technology related to water sustainability through the organization of series of forums, workshops, and conferences, and frequent international communications on specific topics.
- An International Network of water professionals covering scientists, technological experts, policy makers, and administrators for knowledge sharing.
- High-End Technological Consultancy to meet various needs of water industries in various countries and regions by consulting service from experts gathered in IFWS.
- Promotion of International Collaboration by making bridges for advanced technologies to find their wide markets, for locally matured technologies to head to the world, and for organizing joint research projects to solve practical problems.
- Globalization of Water Industry is to be promoted by IFWS through various activities aiming at forming international consortium of water industry and technology standardization.
Institutional Settings
IFWS is an international organization registered in the United Kingdom as an entity for research and experimental development on natural sciences and engineering. Its Headquarter is set in London as the main hub for international operation and management.
With the support of international patterners, IFWS is establishing its regional offices in other regions of the world. The IFWS China Office has already been set in Xi’an, China mainly for the promotion of international collaboration between Chinese water industries and the world through a close linkage with the IFWS London Office. Other regional offices are under establishment.
IFWS Science and Technology Committee
A number of internationally famous scholars/experts have been invited by IFWS to join the Science and Technology Committee, which is the leading expert group to guide the IFWS activities.
