Yuefeng Xie

Biography

Yuefeng Xie graduated from Tsinghua University with a BS degree in chemical engineering, MS and PhD degrees in environmental engineering.  Currently a professor at The Pennsylvania State University, he co-founded and directed Small Public Water Systems Technology Assistance Center and Environmental Training Center at Penn State.  Xie is the founding President of Chinese-American Professors in Environmental Engineering and Sciences society. An IWA Fellow and a Fulbright Scholar, he served as a member of US EPA Science Advisory Board’s Drinking Water Committee.   A distinguished visiting professor in School of Environment at Tsinghua University, he also served as advisor to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development under the Major Water Programs.
